The customer was a law firm having hundreds of gigs of documentation spread all across multiple file shares with rigid permissions due to data security constraints. It was very challenging to reorganize the whole structure in which the documents will be migrated considering the large volume of data versus SharePoint thresholds. Permissions management was another challenge. We not only migrated the permissions successfully but we also build a custom UI that made the life of their admins very easy from a permissions management perspective.
